Welcome

The EBKMAA is an independent non-profit academy, the European Bushin Kenpo Martial Arts Academy. An organisation intended to protect and develop the budo arts.
Although we are a Kempo Ju-Jitsu base style, we respect all martial arts and have members who have come to us from backgrounds in Aikido, Aiki Jitsu, Ju-Jitsu, Kenpo, karate, kung fu, judo, Close Quarter Combat, and kickboxing. They enjoy the benefits offered by the Bushin Kenpo Academy style, and of the Association / Budo Families facilities. The EBKMA was founded by David Wilson Hanshi 10th Dan Kempo Ju-Jitsu / Bushin Kenpo in 2009. The aim of the EBKMAA is to provide a service for dedicated martial arts practitioners in Europe that unifies and represents itself at the highest possible standards achievable.

The EBKMAA is an organisation with a thirst for knowledge, diversifying and learning from other martial arts disciplines as well as having its own wealth of experience. We hope that you will join us in our quest for perfection, above all enabling excellence within ourselves. Within our academy we have a dedicated team of time served highly experienced instructors in the arts of Kenpo/Kempo, Kempo Ju-Jitsu, Ju-Jitsu, Judo, Aiki Jitsu, Aikido, Ki-Jitsu, Judo, Muay Thai kickboxing, Close Quarter Combat, & Tactical Law Enforcement. We welcome Local, National, or International EU Bodies, to work with our academy to promote higher standards, but the BKMAA is and will remain Independent thus making the interests of our members our highest priority.

We are here to assist all members of our academy and to help in any areas required by members. We do not interfere with the running of individual schools but support and recognise each martial artist and club as highly valued members within BKMAA

We do not GOVERN your school, your rules and regulations are your own and we respect every instructor's disciplines and control. Each club is free to operate under their own syllabus or may operate under the legislated Syllabus provided by our academy.

We are not an association or federation, we are an academy
Academy "a place of study or training in a special field."
